A creed is a statement of belief. The
word "credo" is a Latin word which means "I believe."
It is important to be able to think through our fundamental beliefs in order
that we may be competent to present them to those who inquire.. People are
curious about the pacifist and they want to know why they believe as they do. The
following is the creedal statement of the Iranaeic fellowship:

"I believe, 나는
믿는다"를 의미합니다.
질문하는 사람들에게
자신 있게 제시하기 위하여 우리의 근본적인
믿음들을 통하여 생각할 수 있음은 중요합니다.
사람들은 평화주의자에 대하여 호기심을 가지고
있으며 그들은 평화주의자들이 그처럼 믿는 이유에
대해 알고 싶어 합니다. 다음은 평화단의 교리
선언입니다:

"I believe in God as revealed in
the Old and New Testaments of the Christian Bible. I believe that Jesus Christ
is the Son of God and the author and finisher of my salvation. I believe the
Bible to be authoritative and is the guidebook for behavior of all who follow
Christ. Herein do I find the call for my pacifism as express in the teaching of
Jesus and the Apostles. I reject and refuse to participate in all wars and other
forms of institutionalized violence as it is contrary to the call of Christ to
love my enemy and to do good to those who persecute me. I labor to bring
peace in order that others may find life, and in finding life that they may find
Christ. If called to defend my country, I shall not serve, nor support those
that do. My service to my country shall be that I shall harm no one, as an
expression to the obedience of my Lord, and teach others to do likewise."

"나는 그리스도교 성서의 구약 및 신약에 나타난
대로의 하나님을 믿습니다. 나는 예수 그리스도가
하나님의 아들이며, 나의 구원의 창시자이며
완성자임을 믿습니다. 나는 성서가 권능이 있으며
그리스도를 따르는 모든 사람들의 행동 지침임을
믿습니다. 이로서 나는 예수와 그 제자들의 가르침에
나타난 나의 평화주의에 대한 부름을 찾습니다.

- I believe in God.
- I Believe that Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of my salvation.
- I believe the Bible to be the Word of God and authoritative in my life.
- I cannot and will not participate in any war as it is a sin
against God and contrary to the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles.
- My service to my generation is to live peace and to teach peace, by doing
so I may please my Lord and make the world a better place.
