Can war have positive results?	전쟁은 긍정적인 결과들을 가져 오는가?

One of the arguments of the Just War theorists is that war can produce positive benefits, such as freedom. We ask "at what cost?" Freedom has always been and always will be a state of mind. A Christian behind bars in a prison for practicing discipleship will enjoy a freedom unknown by the man outside the prison who is enslaved to his/her passions. When the Just War proponent speaks of "freedom" what he/she is referring to is the preservation of a way of life that they are accustomed to and are willing to sacrifice human lives to preserve. This is what we must examine; What value do you place on the lifestyle you have grown accustomed to? How many lives are you willing to sacrifice in order that you might have freedom of speech? How many bombs are you willing to drop on cities in order that you may drive a BMW rather than an ox cart? How many children are you willing to incinerate in order for you to sit in a Sunday worship service of your choice? It is important to look at all we have and be confident that none of it came at the expense of another. No one suffered or was killed for the things I posses. If we have anything, freedom included, that has been bought by the blood of children then it is not worth the price and is unworthy of the child of God. We try to divide the enemy into two categories, the combatant and the non combatant. By making this division it is supposed to legitimize the killing of the combatants for the sake of freedom. But, just because one is wearing a uniform and is on the other side of the battle line does not make him/her your enemy worthy of death. In many countries children are placed on the battlefield, even the US has children in its ranks (18 and 19 year old boys who have no idea of the complexity of why they are fighting and for what reason). Many are conscripts who are forced to fight, others are in the military to escape poverty, and others fight because they have had a false sense of patriotism and duty instilled in them at a young age. War does not purchase freedom because that is not the coin it can be purchased with. We know that all of our property and rights have not brought us freedom. If anything, it has brought us boredom. If a trade could be made, freedom of religion for freedom of war, would we make the choice? Which would modern Church choose? Would they choose freedom of religion or freedom of war? Of course, they would choose freedom of religion. We know this because this is the path they have always followed. Again, how much freedom do you need to pray? Religion, is a relationship that you have in your heart with God, how can this be preserved by any outward act? The only one whose death was necessary to establish religious freedom was Jesus alone, anything beyond that is murder in the name of Christ. In effect, we do not wage war to gain, or preserve religious freedom, but to preserve a way of life in religious expression that we have grown accustomed to and are comfortable with. By way of example: How many lives is your local Church worth? Would you burn a village with napalm, burning families to death to protect your Church? Would you bomb entire cities? Would you attack your neighbors as a warning to other neighbors not to threaten your Church in any way? If so, then this demonstrates how far removed we have become from the Spirit of our Lord. God does not need earthly buildings of any kind, if so His Temple in Jerusalem would never have been destroyed. Did He not say :"He dwells not in Temples built with hands but in our hearts? We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, not buildings and property.
